I thought FreeNotes is a lightweight application but I noticed that even if no note is picked on my desktop it eats about 6mb oO I think this is quite much for such a small tool isnt it?

Mmmmh. That's strange since it takes about 3.6Mb usually, which is the minimum for a MFC (Microsoft Fundation Classes) statically linked application.
